William John (Willie) RIOLI SNR

Father of Nikita, William (Junior) and Kathleen. Father-in-law of Lucy Brogan-Campbell.

Grandfather of Martin and William (Junior). Extended family members of the Rioli and Vigona Families.

Willie is remembered by the Tiwi Land Council Chair, Deputy Chair, Members, Staff and the Tiwi Community.

The Executive Director and staff of Bushfires NT extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr W Rioli Senior.

Mr W Rioli Senior was a highly-respected, member of the Bushfires Council and a member of the Arnhem regional bushfire committee who will be deeply missed by staff and volunteers across the Tiwi Islands.

The AFL NT Board of Directors and staff extend their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Willie Rioli Snr on their loss.

Willie was an outstanding player and coach. During his football career he became an NTFL Player Life Member, Nichols Medallist, multi-Premiership and representative player, and Tiwi Islands Football League President.

He was a valuable, passionate and down to earth mentor for the footy community on the Islands and we will long remember Willie’s contribution to Territory football.

Rest in Peace Willie, you will be missed.
